Most of the desking programmes can make effective use of the desk mounted screens, desk mounted tool rails, free-standing screens and free-standing nomadic screens. Fusion, Prism Sliding Top, Prism Benching and Connect Benching have their own specific ranges of desk mounted screens. There is a wide selection of shapes and sizes to choose from together with various levels of functionality and practicality to best suit your requirements.

Metallic trimmed desk mounted screens and freestanding screens are a simplistic approach to screening in that they butt up to each other instead of having the facility for connecting them together or adding on any accessories.

Metal framed screens offer the alternative of a fully-framed solution complete with metal endposts and top capping. On both the desk mounted and free-standing metal framed screens advantage is taken of the extrusions in the end-posts to use connectors to link the screens together if preferred. They can also be supplied with single tool rails and quad tool rails if required and rectangular freestanding metal framed screens can be supplied partly glazed and fully glazed and with single tool rails, quad tool rails and whiteboards.

Further extrusions in the end posts also allow the fitting of shelves whilst a comprehensive range of accessories is offered for clipping into the single or quad rail tool rails.

See the Ergonomics listings for a choice of screen mounted monitor arms. Note that a screen with a monitor arm requires a further screen at right angles for cross-bracing unless use is being made of the Fusion or Prism Benching or Connect Benching screens.

The metal framed free-standing screens can be fitted with nomadic feet complete with glides or castors to facilitate the moving of the screens. This allows them to be wheeled to a certain position to take part in a particular task or to act as a temporary barrier or room divider.

Acrylic screens:
Available in off-white acrylic. Details of other colours of acrylic available on request. Note that the prices of the acrylic screens are based on volume orders made from large sheets of acrylic. Therefore, we reserve the right to apply a minimum quantity or a price surcharge if the numbers ordered are judged to be below a viable level of sheet utilisation. For this reason, the prices of certain acrylic screens are available on request.
Supplied with brackets designed for the acrylic screens. These acrylic screens may not always stand up perfectly straight. Therefore, we supply them with a 100mm gap between each screen to take the eye away from any misalignment.

Metallic trimmed screens:
Available in all screen and seating fabrics subject to the width being suitable. Most of the fabrics fall within our lowest price band. The prices of other fabrics are available on request.
The trim is a band of plastic extrusion wrapped around three sides of the screen. It is described as metallic because it is a shiny silver in colour.
Supplied with brackets designed for the metallic trimmed screens. Note that screens are not designed to be connected. However, they can be butted up together to good effect. If the screens do not line up correctly it can help to fit the brackets on alternate sides.

Metal framed screens:
Available in all screen and seating fabrics subject to the width being suitable. Most of the fabrics fall within our lowest price band. The prices of other fabrics are available on request.
The metal frame comprises end-posts made from an aluminium extrusion with a top rail which matches the plastic extrusion on the metallic trimmed screens above.
Supplied with brackets designed for the metal framed screens.
The end posts incorporate grooves for linking strips to act as screen connectors. These screen connectors are available in a number of cross-sections to link together all manner of screen configurations.
The connectors are short in length to facilitate insertion and to provide ingenious combinations for all the likely eventualities.
All the screens are made to the ‘dead size’. For example, a 1600mm desk will use a 1600mm screen including the connectors. It does not matter what configuration the desks are because the 1600mm length will always remain the same regardless whether it is in a freestanding desk, linked in a cruciform shape or placed in runs of bench type set-ups because the screen lengths will always remain true the ‘dead size’ with or without the use of screen connectors.
We call this ‘screen utopia’ not least because it is a better linking system than those offered by many of the other UK screen manufacturers.
They do not offer our standardisation and it will impact on the customers needs for ‘future churn’. It also suits our manufacturing process because it means that we only have to offer a limited number of screen sizes whereas our competitors have two or three times the amount of screen options to cater for.
Our free standing screens make use of the same short lengths of connectors to give a ‘quick build’ method with easy insertion and a low lift and drop (100mm).>
